Location: San Antonio, TX and/or McAllen, TX
Performs all surveying duties of a survey party member and performs necessary calculations to obtain field survey data and performs specialized surveying duties under the supervision of a Registered Land Surveyor or licensed Professional Engineer. Work may require travel. Work may require contact with governmental and private entities. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.

High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies
College Degree a plus
0-3 years in Surveying/CADD (Microstation a plus)
(Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent)
No Supervisory Experience Required
Valid Driver’s License
On-the-job training will be provided upon hire
Entry level experience acceptable.
Work hours could extend beyond 8 to 5.
Required to wear personal protective equipment provided by employer and comply with all safety requirements.
Driver’s record check will be conducted by the Department. Satisfactory driving records are required for driving state or personal vehicles and motor driven equipment to conduct agency business.
